DAY 1 – AIRPORT / NEGOMBO
You will be greeted by a representative of Ebert Silva Holidays at the airport and be transferred to your hotel in Negombo. While in this popular coastal stopover you can see many historical and cultural sites as well as have an insight into the authentic lifestyle of the Sri Lankan fishing community. Visit the famous Angurukaramulla Buddhist Temple which is rich with many ancient murals and a large Buddha statue dating back over 300 years. The colonial heritage can be witnessed by a visit to the Dutch Fort.

DAY 2 – ANURADHAPURA / GIRITALE
Leave early for the heritage city of Anuradhapura which flourished as the first capital of Lanka for 1400 years under 130 kings and was the cradle of the glorious Sinhalese Buddhist civilization. Anuradhapura will undoubtedly offer you many memorable sightseeing highlights being a stately, well laid-out pre-Christian metropolis of massive Buddhist shrines, monasteries, splendid palaces, pavilions, and parks, bathing ponds and vast reservoirs, many of them are masterpieces of architecture, art, sculpture and engineering.
After sightseeing in Anuradhapura proceed to Giritale.

DAY 2 – POLONNARUWA / MINNERIYA
After breakfast proceed to discover the ancient city of Polonnaruwa.
Polonnaruwa was the second capital of Sri Lanka for three centuries between the 11th to 13th centuries. The gigantic ruins of Polonnaruwa echo the glory and splendor of a bygone era during which the island was a prosperous kingdom and known as the ‘Granary of the East’. Among the highlights of the tour is the magnificent palace of king Parakramabahu the Great which was once a seven-storied grand edifice with around 1,000 chambers. The grand Lankatilaka Image House, the unique Vatadage, Rankoth Vehera and many other masterpieces will fascinate you with their architectural brilliance and engineering mastery.
After the incredible experience in Polonnaruwa proceed to Minneriya for a thrilling wildlife safari at the Minneriya National Park.

DAY 3 – GIRITALE / TRINCOMALEE
After breakfast leave to Trincomalee, the major resort and port city located in the east of Sri Lanka. The Trincomalee harbor is one of the largest natural deep harbors in the world located in the Trincomalee Bay which is also known as Koddiyar Bay. The Trincomalee Harbour is an iconic and historically important harbour in Sri Lanka. Visit the Kanniya Hot Water Spring. The average temperature of the water in these wells is 42 Celsius. It is a popular tourist destination among both local & foreign travelers.
You will also explore Fort Frederick, the colonial fort built by the Portuguese as well as the iconic Koneswaram Temple located within the fort. Believed to date back to 400BC, the Koneswaram Temple is a significant Hindu place of worship which is set amidst amazing surroundings overlooking the Trincomalee Harbour.

DAY 4 – TRINCOMALEE / SIGIRIYA
After breakfast you will proceed to explore the fascinating sites of Sigiriya and Dambulla. Sigiriya, among the new Seven Wonders of the World is a must-see site with amazing architecture, engineering and art of the 5th century AD. Thereafter, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple. It comprises of five large caves adorned with Buddha statues, colorful paintings and well-preserved religious works of art. Both Sigiriya and Dambulla are UNESCO declared World Heritage Sites.

DAY 5 – SIGIRIYA / DAMBULLA / AIRPORT
Today is the last day of your most memorable holiday in Sri Lanka. You will depart to Colombo after breakfast and depending on your flight schedule will have the opportunity of experiencing the city of Colombo on board the ‘Colombo City Tour’. The open deck double decker sightseeing tour will give you a glimpse into the city’s important monuments, sites, history and heritage.
Thereafter we will guide you to the airport to board your flight for the onward journey
