DAY 1 – AIRPORT / KANDY

You will be greeted by a representative of Ebert Silva Holidays at the airport and be transferred to your hotel in Kandy.

The picturesque city of Kandy was the last royal capital of Sri Lanka and rich traditions, folklore and culture that have spanned centuries are still kept alive in this beautiful city. Lush green hills and the beautiful Kandy Lake add to the charm of the hill capital. The UNESCO declared World Heritage City of Kandy is famous for the Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of the most venerated Buddhist temples in the world. You will visit the famous Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya which includes more than 4000 species of plants, comprising of spices, medicinal plants and palm trees among many other varieties and is renowned for its collection of orchids.

The long, palm framed pathways and shady trails are ideal for long romantic strolls. In the evening you can visit the temple complex and view a traditional Kandyan Dancing performance later in the evening.

DAY 2 – NUWARA ELIYA

The second day will take you to Nuwara Eliya, the salubrious central hill country with the coolest temperatures in the island and old-world English architecture. Be bewitched by the beauty of lush green tea estates, the picturesque Gregory Lake, scenic landscapes and glorious water falls. You will spend the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 3 – KITULGALA

After breakfast, proceed to Kitulgala, a town nestled within forest hills. It is also known to be the filming location for David Lean’s 1957 Oscar-winning film “Bridge on the River Kwai”. Add excitement to your vacation by joining in Kitulgala’s main attraction which is white water rafting.

Overnight stay will be close to nature at your campsite under the starry night.

DAY 4 – NEGOMBO

Visit the popular stopover and interesting coastal city of Negombo. With numerous plush hotels and restaurants it is known for its extensive fishing industry. It is interesting to see the fisherfolk bring in their catch on an early morning visit to the beach. If you are a lover of seafood, be prepared for a treat of some of the most delicious crabs and an amazing variety of seafood. Enjoy the city’s heritage, history and view its popular monuments. Take a refreshing and romantic stroll on the beach followed by a romantic candlelit dinner.

DAY 5 – NEGOMBO

Enjoy the day at leisure by the beach. You can visit interesting shops lined by the roadside for some colorful souvenirs from your delightful vacation. Enjoy an authentic Ayurveda spa treatment followed by a romantic candlelight dinner.

Day 6 – NEGOMBO / AIRPORT

After an unforgettable romantic experience it will be time to say goodbye as we direct you to your flight back home.
