DAY 1 – AIRPORT / NEGOMBO

You will be greeted by a representative of Ebert Silva Holidays at the airport and be transferred to your hotel in Negombo. A popular stopover, Negombo is a beautiful coastal city located by the lagoon with long, sandy beaches. Its iconic catamarans and active life of the fisher folk will add to the excitement as you explore the city and its popular locations in an interesting city tour.

DAY 2 – DAMBULLA

After breakfast proceed to Dambulla. En-route visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to have an insight to the wonderful world of the gentle giants. The orphanage has about 100 elephants which have been found either wounded or lost in the wild. At the orphanage the elephants are allowed to roam in large open spaces in herds. The bathing time is indeed a delightful opportunity to watch all the elephants followed by their calves head to the river to bathe and play. You can visit the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple in the evening.

DAY 3 – SIGIRIYA / KANDY

Leave before sunrise to Kandalama to have a delightful Hot Air Balloon ride. Enjoy a typical Sri Lankan breakfast at site as you watch the balloon being inflated. Experience a spectacular sunrise as you float over the beautiful and stunning landscapes and celebrate your love with Champagne on the hot air balloon.

Proceed to Kandy. En-route Visit the fascinating Sigiriya Rock.

Sigiriya is one of the most valuable historical monuments in Sri Lanka and also among the new Wonders of the World. After the visit to Sigiriya you can visit a Batik factory and view an ancient yet contemporary technique of fabric painting that requires immense patience and skill. A visit to a Spice Garden will tantalize your senses as the aromas delightfully fill the air. The visit will help you discover the different types of herbs and spices for which Sri Lanka is known the world over.

Visit the Temple of Tooth Relic in Kandy in the evening, one of the most sacred and picturesque Buddhist places of worship in Sri Lanka. Kandy, the last royal capital of the island is set on a plateau surrounded by lush mountains. At the heart of the city is the scenic Kandy Lake around which you can enjoy a delightful romantic stroll in the evening before you return to your hotel.

DAY 4 – NUWARA ELIYA

After Breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the salubrious weather and the delightful scenic beauty of the ‘hill country’ surrounded by lush green mountains that are carpeted with seamless tea estates.

DAY 5 – HORTON PLAINS

With a packed breakfast you will proceed to the “World’s End”, located in the Horton Plains Park. Discover what it is like to be at the world’s end as you witness the steep slope at the end of a four-kilometer journey, one of the most popular destinations in the island. Enjoy the sightseeing experience and return back to Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 6 – ELLA / TANGALLE 

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and proceed to Tangalle via Ella. En-route visit the cascading Ravana Falls waterfall which is a popular tourist attraction in the island. View the grand Nine Arch Bridge, also known as the Bridge in the Sky which is a glorious man-made masterpiece.

DAY 7 – TANGALLE / WADDUWA

After breakfast explore the heritage city of Galle. Experience the Dutch heritage of the island as you visit the Galle Fort. Enjoy each other’s company at leisure amidst breathtaking views in tropical settings. Be captivated by the Indian Ocean and mesmerized by the fiery sunset. You will be free to relax and enjoy in solitude. Enjoy walking along romantic pathways, through remnants of colonial buildings viewing the breathtaking landscapes.

Overnight stay in Wadduwa.

DAY 8 – COLOMBO / AIRPORT

After Breakfast transfer to Colombo. You will carry with you beautiful lifetime memories of a romantic vacation as we guide you to the airport for your onward journey.
