DAY 1 – AIRPORT / KANDY
Welcomed by a representative of Ebert Silva Holidays at the Bandaranaike International Airport you will be transferred to Kandy. This beautiful city was the last royal capital of the island and is set on a plateau surrounded by lush mountains. Visit the sacred Temple of Tooth in Kandy, one of the most revered and picturesque Buddhist places of worship in Sri Lanka. In the heart of the city is the scenic Kandy Lake around which a delightful evening stroll is highly recommended.
Overnight stay in Kandy.
DAY 2 – ELLA
Leave to Nuwara Eliya after breakfast. You can enjoy this travel by train which will be a breathtaking, scenic ride to remember. A must-do in your visit to the island, it will take you from Kandy to Nanu-Oya Station. You may also opt to travel in our comfortable vehicle to Nuwara Eliya. On the way to Nuwara Eliya you will make a visit to Little Adam’s Peak en-route. Evening will be spent at leisure. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
DAYS 3, 4, & 5 – ARUGAM BAY
After breakfast travel to the coastal town of Arugam Bay. This destination is amongst the top beaches in Sri Lanka and is also a common destination for surf lovers; better known as ‘Surfer’s Paradise’. So don’t forget to carry your surfboard, or rent one, and hit the waves every day. You will spend the next four days relaxing, sunbathing and enjoying the delightful beaches at leisure.
On day 05, you have the option of having a thrilling jeep safari at the Kumana National Park to explore the wildlife and beautiful bird species in Sri Lanka. Overnight stay in Arugam Bay.
DAY 6 – COLOMBO
After breakfast you will be transferred to Colombo. Overnight stay in Colombo.
DAY 7 – COLOMBO / AIRPORT
Your delightful 7 – day beach tour has now come to an end. After breakfast you will be guided to the airport. Depending on the flight schedule you can also have a glimpse of the city of Colombo and see its important monuments on the guided open deck double decker city sightseeing experience the ‘Colombo City Tour’.
